Our work

One measured result, and what we build

Datanova is early, so this page is short and honest. Below is work we have actually delivered and measured — followed by what we build, described as capability rather than dressed up as client history.

Delivered and measured

What we have actually shipped

Operational visibility & quality

A paper inspection turned into a digital workflow

A quality inspection process moved off paper and disconnected spreadsheets into a structured digital workflow with centralized records.

Challenge

The inspection process relied heavily on manual steps and fragmented information. The same data was written down once and typed again later, reporting lagged behind the work, and there was no reliable way to look at results across time.

Solution

A digital inspection workflow with structured data capture, validation at the point of entry, centralized records, and reporting generated from the same data the inspectors enter.

What changed

  • Structured digital records replaced fragmented manual reporting
  • Operational data became available for dashboards and analysis
  • Inspectors stopped re-entering the same information twice
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • FastAPI
  • PostgreSQL

What we build

The three shapes most projects take

These are capabilities, not past client projects. We describe them so you can tell quickly whether your problem is one we handle — and so nobody has to guess what a proposal would look like.

  • Replacing a spreadsheet with a web app

When a process has outgrown Excel — several people editing the same file, versions by email, no audit trail — we rebuild it as a small web application with one source of truth.

    • One record everyone works from, with permissions
    • Validation at entry instead of cleanup afterwards
    • A history of who changed what and when
    • Reporting built from the same data, not re-keyed
    • React
    • TypeScript
    • FastAPI
    • PostgreSQL
  • Automating the work that repeats every week

Imports, validations, approvals and the report somebody rebuilds by hand each Monday. These are usually the cheapest wins and the first thing worth doing.

    • Scheduled imports and exports between systems
    • Approval and notification flows
    • Recurring reports generated and sent automatically
    • Checks that catch bad data before it spreads
    • Python
    • FastAPI
    • Power Automate
    • REST integrations
  • Dashboards built on the operation, not on a export

Reporting that reads from the live process instead of a spreadsheet somebody exports and cleans. Useful once the data underneath is trustworthy — which is usually the real project.

    • Metrics defined once and used everywhere
    • Drill-down from a number to the records behind it
    • Scheduled summaries to whoever needs them
    • PostgreSQL
    • Power BI
    • Python
    • React

If a critical process still lives in a spreadsheet, the place to start is when it makes sense to replace Excel with a web app.

Working with us early

What you get instead of a long client list

We are not going to pretend to a track record we do not have yet. What we can do is make hiring us a small, reversible decision.

  • Fixed scope, fixed price

Agreed in writing before anything starts. If the scope changes, we quote the change — you never get a surprise invoice.

  • You own the code

Everything we build is handed over in your repository. No lock-in, no license to keep paying, nothing held hostage.

  • The diagnosis is yours either way

The free 45-minute call ends in a written diagnosis. If you take it and build it yourself, or with someone else, that is a fine outcome.

Ready to improve how your business operates?

Tell us what's slowing your team down. We'll help identify where optimization, automation, data, or AI can make the biggest difference.

  1. You book a 45-minute call

We walk through the process that hurts and where the time actually goes.

  2. You get a written diagnosis

What to optimize, what to automate, what to replace — and what to leave exactly as it is.

  3. You decide

No obligation to build anything with us. The diagnosis is yours either way.
